Vantis are twisted remnants of unrested familiar spirits, transformed by the Darkside into floating, cloak-like entities that exist solely to torment the mind. Their form drifts silently through the air, but it is the darkness within their hood—the Shadevoid—that defines them: a living, faceless void that feels aware, focused, and impossibly present. Victims know instantly when it is looking at them, and once that awareness is established, escape becomes almost impossible. They do not speak, yet their presence floods the mind with overwhelming pressure, as if something unseen has already taken hold.

Rather than striking the body, Vantis dismantle the mind. They amplify fear, distort perception, and collapse the world inward—hallways feel tighter, air grows heavy, and reality itself begins to bend. Their screams are not heard, but felt, echoing violently inside the victim’s thoughts until panic replaces reason. They flicker in and out of sight, always reappearing closer, feeding on emotional instability and fear. Though vulnerable to pure celestial light, they are otherwise untouchable, existing as a relentless psychological force. Vantis are not hunters in the traditional sense… they are the moment when fear stops feeling like emotion—and starts feeling real.
